Great for Custom Cables. Designing a custom cable involves accurate measurement of a wide variety of ends, fittings, and adjusters.  If replacing an obsolete assembly, available components usually do NOT match the obsolete part exactly. In either case, producing such assemblies is generally time intensive, with high potential for error. By terminating one end with a set screw type connector like the Cable Nut - Strap Fork, the build / design time goes way down, and error potential is about zero.  If you need to purchase a custom cable assembly,  consider using the Cable Nut - Strap Fork. It will reduce build time approximately one hour.
