222 Violet, Low Strength Thread Locker. For 1/4" diameter and smaller fasteners. Where "Thread Locker" is specified in Rotax documentation, that spec is generally European version 221 Violet. 222 is the correct US equivalent LT222x5 5 ml only $6.99	242 Blue, Thread Locker. For larger fasteners. Can be removed with normal tools, without heating. This is the most commonly used Thread Locker in most industries LT242x5 5 ml only $6.99
271 Red, High Strength Thread Locker. Requires heat for removal. 271 is specified in many application on various machines and equipment, but NOT on Rotax Engines. We do, however use 271 for one particular application on LQ Rotax engines, plus "other" shop uses make 271 a necessary part of our Loctite Products Kit. ...Use it judiciously. LT271x5 5 ml only $6.99	290 Green, Thread Locker. A low viscosity (numerically) penetrating Thread Locker which has an amazing ability to wick into fasteners already assembled. This first got our attention when we saw it used for an effective field repair on a riveted aluminum fuel tank. No "specified" use on Rotax, but with one use, it will become a "must have" in any shop. LT290x5 5 ml only $6.99
515 Gasket Eliminator. For sealing the mating surfaces on crankcases. THIS is used on Rotax engines at the manufacturing level. 518 and 574 can be adequately substituted. 574 comes with an impressive (expensive) applicator. 515 or 518 will need to be "smeared around by finger" method. It is speculated, that because there is no direct German to English translation for "smeared around by finger", that Rotax specifies 574 in their manual. LT515x5 5 ml only $5.99	609 Green, Cylindrical Part Bonding Compound. This is a low viscosity (numerically) Retaining Compound for bonding bearings to shafts and similar close fit components. We use this to bond: Condensers on Point Ignition Rotax engines, electric start ring gear mating surfaces, etc. The flow characteristic of 609 can make it a desirable alternative to the more viscous 648 LT609x5 5 ml only $6.99
648 Green, Cylindrical Part Bonding Compound. Higher viscosity (numerically) and strength than 609. Loctite 648 is specified by Rotax in man648 Green, Cylindrical Part Bonding Compound. Higher viscosity and strength than 609. Loctite 648 is specified by Rotax in many areas of assembly on Rotax engines and Gear Boxes. This, historically has been difficult to locate, in the USA and substitutions have often been used. Green Sky, has now sourced 648 and packaged it for convenient use in our LT-7 kit.
